Summary: The Master of Twists
Comment: The last three stories are the real gems of this pack of shorts. The "Agreement" has a hilarious twist, but is so wonderfully horrifying that it's an excruciating fun read. "Cleansing" is another demonstration of Konrath at his twisting best, surprisingly set in the times of John the Baptist. "Urgent Reply Needed" was a fun idea on how to get rid of spam, but the story played with me. Konrath often convinces me to like an unlikable hero, but he never stops twisting until, at the last second, the hero is again unlikable (and a bit horrifying, too!).

I'm a sucker for short stories, and Konrath's stories among my favorites!
