Comment: Excuses, excuses, excuses. Amazon is hitting hard time with suppliers. Order placed on August 20, they gave themselves 5 weeks to deliver. Instead 5 weeks later they sent me this:
"We thought you should know that there's a delay with the item(s) listed below. Updated Delivery Estimate: November 3, 2008 - November 19, 2008"

What a joke. I get better service from random people on eBay!

Comment: Well worth the money--tone isn't great, but a super starter set. My 14 year old and 7 year old love it. Looked at lots of sets. This one was by far the least expensive and it looks great

Summary: Quality Starter Set - Great Price
Comment: This is a very well built set for the price. Considering it's First Act which is typically a 'starter' set - this has a lot of detail and quality built in that you typically don't find at this price. For starters, it is a complete 8 piece set including high hat and throne. The stands feature double turned steel reinforced feet which make it more stable and supportive. Beware - this does come in one HUGE box and there is assembly that is necessary. Overall, a great set for my 7 year old beginner.
