Comment: I've used this product before but it came in a split compact w/a lip spackle too which I never used. I was happy to see that I could just get the eye spackle by itself. It goes on smoothly and helps even out the tone of your eyelid so the eye shadow's true color shows. It also keeps eye shadows lasting much much longer w/o fading away.

Summary: Turn the lights on
Comment: One of Laura Geller's wonderful creations is this little tub. I multi-task with it. First, it is a wonderful primer for eyeshadow or any of her baked "Brighten" colors. Secondly, when in a hurry and I want just a touch of makeup, I use it alone (sparingly) to open my eyes and brighten them. There is no creasing or smearing even when worn alone. And since my skin is so pale, I sometimes use this product as a concealer. As with all my hurried makeup techniques, eye and cheek colors go on flawlessly with a small finger instead of a brush.

Please understand that with Laura's products a little goes a long way. You may pay more up front but her products are high quality and they LAST. In other words you get a big bang for your buck.

Comment: I got this as a gift and am totally sold on it. I have so many old eyeshadows I never use but this really brings them to life - even cheaper shadows last a long time with this spackle base. Well worth the money.

Summary: Best Eye Makeup base
Comment: I've tried several eye shaddow bases including Laura Mercier and find the Laura Geller Eye Spackle to last the longest. I generally have my makeup on by 6:00AM and keep in on until 9:30 PM. It looks as great at night as it did in the morning. I definitely recommend this product.
