Summary: Fine in cool weather, not-so-fine when it's hot
Comment: I've been searching in earnest for a replacement for my beloved, all-time favorite, non-petroleum based lip balm: Lip Shtick. Maybe the company went out of business, maybe they changed their name--all I know is that I can't find Lip Shtick anywhere. (sob) Anyhow, this Dr. Bronner's/Sun Dog balm is a fair substitute. In terms of plusses: it's organic, it doesn't have a strong flavor, and it's not too sticky or gummy like some brands. On the minus-side: it gets VERY SOFT in warm weather, especially when it's carried in your pants pocket. When this happens, it's just not usable. LipShtick never did this, which leaves this lip balm addict still on the hunt for a new favorite balm.

Comment: Great product with no harmful chemicals. I have found only three lip balms that qalify and this is one of them. I'm a lip balm junkie and I'm really happy with this product.

Comment: This lip balm is very rich and emollient. It has a light, pleasing beeswax scent. I have tried a bunch of different balms (such as Burt's Bees, EO, Weleda, etc) and I would say that Dr. Bronner's is my favorite.

Comment: This is an excellent lip balm in many ways. Many lip balms actually irritate my skin and dry it out. This product does what it's supposed to. My lips are softer, no peeling or cracking. Summary: Great for sensitive skin
Comment: I absolutely love this stuff. I recently got eczema for unknown reasons and would get it around my lips as well. I was told to keep the skin lubricated, but flavored lip balm didn't seem to help, artificial as well as naturally flavored (I tried the Dr. Bronner's Orange Ginger flavor and that also irritated me). There is absolutely no flavor or extracts (the Merry Hempsters natual flavor has Rosemary extract--tried that one too) so it's excellent for extremely sensitive or damaged skin. It smells like honey because it contains beewax; it's a pleasant smell.
