The gauge itself is a dial, much like a blood pressure monitor. The dial is encased in rubber to safeguard it against dropping or turbulence. A 10? rubber hose extends from the dial with a durable metal head. The dial reads from 10-100 PSI (pounds per square inch) in 2 pound increments. If you go over your target pressure, a handy release valve enables you to release small amounts of air until you reach the desired pressure.
