Comment: These protectors are very good. They protect the clothing (chest and lap). I even reverse the protector to the waterproof side when necessary. They wash and dry well. Definitely recommended!

Comment: Just purchased my second PC 690. I use one for straight bits and the other for dovetail bits when I use my dovetail jig for making drawers. The PC is a quality product that will not go out of adjustment and the close torelance shaft runout leaves no chatter marks during use. I like the easy collet change from 1/2 to 1/4 inch. You do have to be careful when turning the unit off and on as the switch is not located in a good location. There are lots of other good quality routers out there, but I plan on staying with Porter Cable products.
