Customer Rating: Summary: Not as advertised Comment: I have been wearing gas-permeable contacts for more than 25 years, and have been using this product for at least 15 years. Imagine my surprise when I received two 3-pack packages that looked different than the one I am used to -- and no contact lens cases inside. The packages and bottles I received state that the product is only for soft contact lenses (the one I have used forever states it is for both soft contact lenses and rigid gas-permeable lenses). I read the ingredient list on both the old and new bottles and it is the same. I also looked up the manufacturer's Web site to see if there was any explanation -- no -- and so I am guessing that Alcon's marketers removed the gas-permeable designation since there are so few of us who wear these contacts anyway. Plus, the company then doesn't have to include a free lens case as people who wear soft contact lenses usually have a special case for them and probably never used the Supraclens one.
So, since I bought six bottles of this stuff based on Amazon's photo and ad but got a possibly different product and no lens cases, I give it 3 stars. After I use up these bottles, I will head back to the drugstore to see if the "old" Supraclens daily protein remover for soft and gas-permeable contacts is still around. Customer Rating: Summary: clear and comfortable contact wearing Comment: I have clarity with my contacts all day using this product. I had stopped using it for a few weeks and noticed a difference, and went back to it and will continue using it.
