Diva Cup Model 1 is for Pre-Childbirth and/or Under 30 Years of Age. The DivaCup is approved by the FDA (USA) and Health Canada. It is made of soft medical grade silicone, which is latex-free, 100% hypoallergenic and odorless. For over 50 years, silicone has been safely and extensively used in products for the health care industry. Every DivaCup comes with a discreet drawstring carry bag, full instructions, and an extra pamphlet to share. They also include an exclusively designed Diva pin with silver accents, that they hope you can proudly wear to show your support and help them spread the word about this amazing product! Back in the 1930's the innovative menstrual cup was invented as a form of internal feminine protection. The DivaCup is a modern version of this proven concept that has been redesigned with the latest technology in moulding and materials. Since The DivaCup is reusable, it is very economical. As well, you can feel confident that you are doing your part in environmental conservation. Landfill and pollution problems are on the rise and continue to be a worldwide concern.

Customer Rating: Summary: I have been using this for 3 years. Comment: This is an amazing product. I have been using it for 3 years and can't believe how many years I put up with the inconvience and mess of pads and tampons. I used a cervical cap for birth control for years so inserting the cap was no different at all. It fits well, I remove it and clean it twice a day, and have no problems with leakage. I can't feel it when I'm using it. No problems at all. I highly recommend it. If you have never used a diaphram or cap I recommend inserting this sometime when you aren't on your period. When you don't need it, and can just practice. Just use some lube, and it'll have the same effect. But you'll be more relaxed. Once you do it a couple of times, when your period comes and you need it, it won't be a problem. Customer Rating: Summary: Call Me DIVA!! Comment: I've wanted to switch to reusable feminine products for a while. I was using Instead, the disposable cups, and though they are comfortable, I would often have leaks. I hate tampons (and last night actually had a dream about the world driest tampon irritating me), and I know that disposables are super bad for the environment. I got my Diva Cup very quickly, and it arrived mid-T.O.M. I wanted to use it, but hadn't practiced like many ladies suggest, so I was worried I'd have trouble. I had no problem with the instructions, and found the cup to be so comfortable AND had no leaks! It's also great to wear at the end of your cycle when you don't have a heavy flow (something I could never work out satisfactorily with tampons and pads.) I adore my Diva Cup, and am so happy that I never again have to buy any sanitary products and can feel comfortable during my whole cycle. I also like that I only have to change it twice per day. I'm a DIVA convert, and have told all my friends about it!! Customer Rating: Summary: Use it Comment: This product is great. I am so glad to be done with tampons. It does take a bit of time to get use to it, but definitely give it some time. Customer Rating: Summary: Wow Comment: I bought one the other day and am trying it for the first time. The only trouble I had getting it in was I couldn't push the stem up far enough so maybe I'll trim it. But I'm relieved to not have to have pads in EVERY purse that I own "just in case"! I will definietly be recommending this to my friends. Customer Rating: Summary: I love this product! Comment: I love my new DivaCup!
This is my first cycle using the Diva and so far, so good! I had heard some stories of friends not liking it and so it took me a while to give this wonderful little product a try. Honestly, I think all it takes is a little getting used to. This can easily be accomplished with a bit of persistence and getting confortable with your own body.
I did 2 "dry runs" when I first got my Diva (when I knew I would be able to be relaxed and take my time) and by the time my period came, I was able to insert it correctly within a minute.
It took some practice, but I found that using the "origami" fold, it is easy to insert and that it pops open al on its own. I have not had any leaks nor discomfort while using the DivaCup.
I am towards the end of my first cycle with it now and I am able to remove it and insert it within seconds. This is not as "gross" as some people say or think and, since I only have to change it 2 or 3 times a day, I am usually able to be at home in my own bathroom when I do this.
I told a lot of my friends about the Diva when it first came in the mail. Now, they are all waiting to see how it actually worked out. I will definetely recommend this product.
