It's said that the Romans used to bathe in lavender. Well, we can, too, with the Lavender Body and Bath collection from Caswell-Massey.
Of course, each product in the collection comes in a charming gift box decorated with the picture of a thatched roof Cotswolds cottage surrounded by lavender bushes.
My introduction to the collection came with the gift of a bar of Calming Lavender Shea Butter soap. The 4.5 oz. Bar produced a rich, creamy sweet smelling lather and I was hooked. Next for me was the Body Lotion, which comes in an 8.2 oz. Bottle with a pump dispenser. It softens the skin as it lightly scents.
I've found these to be lovely items at a reasonable price.
