Customer Reviews:
Customer Rating: Summary: Great for work Comment: It's so hard to find healthy noodle bowls-- and the Annie Chun's Noodle Express line does a great job of providing good flavor without scary nutrition information. Each tray is a little over 300 calories, compared to 500+ for a traditional ramen-type meal of the same size. I keep these at work in case I don't have time to make my lunch, and don't feel guilty at all when I eat them. Not everybody needs to watch nutritional information, but for those of us that do, it's a really convenient product.
The sauce & seasoning packet are about what I would normally expect from a comparable product, but the steamed noodles really make this a great change from the rest. Customer Rating: Summary: good, fast, and convenient Comment: I really like these meals. The chow mein flavor is a little heavy on the soy sauce for my taste, but I really like the thai peanut. This really is suprisingly good for a meal in less than 1 minute. I love that the bowl is biodegradable and the sauce packets are set up so that you don't even need scissors. The ingredients are MUCH better/healthier than most of these type meals and the ingredient list is a lot shorter. Customer Rating: Summary: 10 cents worth of food 50 cents worth of packaging Comment: Really, the four for a dollar top raimen is far better than this. I can't speak for all the Annie Chun products, but this one was a waste at any price. Customer Rating: Summary: Bad link Comment: I can to this product by clicking on the Thai Peanut link. Bait and Switch? I doubt it. But it is a great inconvenience. Customer Rating: Summary: Great for pre-packaged Chow Mein Comment: I JUST got done eating one of these for lunch. I thought it was very good for packaged Chow Mein. Not only that, but much healthier. Annie Chun's uses all natural ingredients and no MSG. Also, it comes with a seperate spice pack and sauce pack, so you can use even less of the salty soy sauce mixture.
