Customer Reviews:
Customer Rating: Summary: Great green product Comment: These facial tissues work just fine for normal use. Keep a box of Puffs Plus stashed away for when you've got a cold or the flu, but the rest of the time, go green and use Seventh Generation recycled tissues! Customer Rating: Summary: These are the roughest facial tissues ever! Comment: Please, saving trees is very important, but let's use recycled paper on things other than our poor noses! These tissues were like cardboard. I will never use them again. Customer Rating: Summary: Yes, save the planet; no, to torture. Comment: I am the organic, recycle poster queen...but alas, I am a princess....and these tissues are meant for prison inmates at best. I really wanted to like them, but I will NEVER purchase them again. I have banished the large carton quantity of these rough style tissues to my boys rooms and the basement to give them the rustic, in the woods, feel they so relish. I have gone back to perhaps not eco friendly, but definitely comfortable Puffs. When they incorporate comfort into the recycled product I will be the first in line. These tissues are really reminiscent of the Sears catalog days in the outhouse. Customer Rating: Summary: Good for the conscience not for the nose Comment: These are much rougher than any other tissue I've used. Pulling the first tissue inevitably results in pulling out a third of the tissues, then stuffing them back in, then they don't often automatically pull each other out as you use them.
The difference in enironmental impact vs. cost is negligible, so until they iron out these issues I recommend the standard options. Customer Rating: Summary: Still looking for a soft one Comment: OK, buying 100% recycled tissues was the right thing to do. But if you have a serious cold, this is not the soft tissue you want. My 10-year-old immediately registered a complaint.
The good news is they seem to be smaller tissues, so, you don't feel compelled to keep reusing them to use the whole tissue up.
And, of course, they are made of 100% recycled paper and I could not find any on the grocery store shelves.
At this point, I don't plan to reorder them when I run out. I'm looking for a softer choice.
