Comment: My allergist suggested that I buy one of these "peak flow meters" because I sometimes feel short of breath. This device measures how much wind you can blow out and lets you know where you are with your breathing. I found out that I breathe normally and most of the problem was in my head. So any time I am feeling short of breath, I can measure my breathing to find out what's up. I highly recommend this Peak Flow Meter for its design, compact self-carrying case and ease of use. For some reason,I could not get one at my local pharmacy, but they were right here on Amazon.com.
