Customer Reviews:
Customer Rating: Summary: Not too impressed Comment: I bought this to replace another La Cross temp station - turns out I should have probably gone with another brand. This one works great WHEN it connects to the outside temp station. But 9/10 times, it doesn't. Unless you're using it on the same floor as the base, I'd suggest something else. Customer Rating: Summary: Multiple location temperature reading Comment: I use this model with 3 remote sensors. One sensor measures outdoor ambient, while the other two sensors are in the crawl space under the house, in near proximity to water lines at extremities. If under-house temp ever gets to approx 35F, I'll start a water drip at the faucet.
Accuracy is so-so. At worst, actual temp will be within 2F of measured value.
In the summer, I'll replace batteries and put one sensor in the attic. Customer Rating: Summary: Get what you pay for Comment: This unit is a bit of a dissapointment. My bad I went for price. Resetting time temp is not easy or intuitive. Keep the instrcutions handy. The remote sensor which I had about 20 feet away phases in and out. Spend more on a better unit.
