Editorial Review:
Nobody will argue that a clothes dryer is a wonderful convenience, especially in winter or on rainy days. But we're hard pressed to come up with something that smells more glorious than fresh laundry dried in the sun and breeze. And free drying power can't be beat.
This Lehigh line dryer is one of the best we've ever seen: It's compact, yet it has 197 feet of line drying space - enough for four loads of laundry - and the line tension is adjustable, perfect for hanging out heavy quilts. The drying height can be adjusted easily, too, which is good news if you live your life under 5'4" or so.
Installation is straightforward: Dig a hole, place the sleeve, pour in a little concrete. That's it. When you're ready to hang laundry, just slip the pole into the sleeve and open it up. The drying unit is aluminum, making it light enough for anyone to lift and carry it, so bringing it inside after laundry day is no burden at all.
We like the way the lines are cantilevered, getting more hanging room in smaller square footage. There's no assembly aside from setting the sleeve in the ground, either. If you're looking to save a little green and go a little green, this is a great way to do it.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste

Customer Rating: Summary: Lightweight and Spacious Comment: Received the umbrella clothes line within a couple days of ordering. It was a breeze to install in the ground. The plastic pipe that goes in the ground is a good idea because the metal one I had began to rust. The entire umbrella is lightweight and easy to lift. No problem what-so-ever opening the clothes line. Line already threaded through. Bought one a while back in which I had to thread the line. A real pain. Would recommend this umbrella clothes line to everyone. Customer Rating: Summary: clothesline Comment: I looked everywhere to buy a parallel clothesline and was unable to find one until I thought to look on line. Nothing better than clothes hanging outside to dry. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Product Comment: This is a great clothes line! It was wasy to put up and hold more clothes than it looks like it would. I am very happy with it! Customer Rating: Summary: works great Comment: It is what it claims to be and does the job it needs to do. Over all i am very happy with this clothes dryer: It is very light weight, sturdy, adjustable in height and spread and comes with a plastic sleeve to put in the ground with a cap to keep out the water (much more atractive than a pipe in the ground with a can over it). I strongly recomend that you set the sleeve in concrete as described in the directions, I imagine it would tip over with a heavy wash load on it if you don't. Customer Rating: Summary: works great Comment: THIS IS MY FIRST TIME WITH A CLOTHESLINE LIKE THIS AND I LOVE IT!!! IT HOLDS ALOT OF CLOTHES. NO MORE POLES AND DROOPY LINES FROM TREE TO TREE. I EVEN GO UNDER IT WITH THE RIDING LAWN MOWER WITH IT UP. REASON FOR 4 STARS ND NOT 5 IS IT HARD TO PUSH UP. IT ALWAYS COMES OUT OF THE GROUND. I LEAVE MINE EXTENDED ALL THE TIME AND NO PROBLEMS.LORRAINE
