Comment: While browsing through a perfum shop a few years ago with a friend, we stumbled upon Filigree from Thymes. We had both read a book that summer with a character named "Sam" who had beautiful green eyes..."the kind of green that didn't make a big deal about themselves." She was understated, simple, but kind and deep and compassionate.
When we smelled Filigree for the first time, we agreed that this was the scent that Sam would wear. We each bought a bottle years later after a reunion and I wear it when I want to feel and smell elegant.
It's a deeply rich, earthy scent that is not overpowering, but lasts (like any good friendship).
