Customer Rating: Summary: Works well Comment: I myself have to juggle working out at a gym, a security job working the graveyard shift and going to college so its not surprising if I sometimes go to sleep at 8AM rather than 8PM and these eye masks have been life savers by helping to block out that annoying sunlight and even the LEDs from my electronics so its helped me catch some much needed shut eye.
Final thoughts
They are surprisingly sturdy considering all the moving I do when I sleep, they block 90% of the light which is more than enough for me, they are VERY comfortable even with that little plastic thingy that holds the string together and they are easy to store away so all in all a 5 star item that anyone who has a hard time sleeping should buy. Customer Rating: Summary: disappointed Comment: This mask is made of thick fabric- thus it is bulky and hot. Although the strap is adjustable, the mask does not fit my head. Customer Rating: Summary: This item is a pair Comment: We love the masks - so comfortable - the description does not say it is two units - the only clue is the picture - ordered 3 - got 6 - Oh well - they are great presents - sent one to friend protecting all of us - stationed in Iraq Customer Rating: Summary: Perfect in every way and I'm sleeping like a rock Comment: Wow this thing is comfy!!! If you read my displeasure on the Happy Co Therapeutic Chenille eye mask, this Lewis N. Clark Comfort Eye Mask MORE than makes up for the annoyance I went thru with the 'other one'. The photos don't give much info on what exactly you are getting besides a puffy-looking sleep mask...on the side that is against your face, along the bottom edge, there is a very soft puffy fold. It keeps the mask from squashing your eyes, gives your eyes room to blink or have a little breathing room, and even if you open your eyes to see if you can see the light, you kind of end up looking down into that dark fold. There are no beads or seeds or eye holes or scented things or anything to move around, just a nice soft pillow to cover your eyes. The headband...omg...it is soft, wide (3/4"), and has the slimmest little plastic clasp I have ever seen. Where ever that clasp is on my head I have no idea since I have never noticed it. I can sleep on either side or on my back (usually head tilted to one side or other) and there are NO seams, clumps, wads of anything that I have thought one iota about. I have the band go right over my ears--as if it were a hat--and have slept like a rock for the past several nights I have worn it. And even when I did wake up in the middle of the night...the first thing I noticed, I couldn't see the clock!!! so I couldn't then look again and again and wonder why I'm not sleeping!!! This is definitely going to be at the top of my carry-on bag for long flights, and will stay next to my pillow for nightly use. I really love this thing!!! Customer Rating: Summary: best I've used Comment: I've used quite a few brands eye masks/blindfolds for sleeping during travel. This is by far the best.
