Just lay the overlay across the bed (over the bottom sheet). The large absorbent pad holds up to 6 cups of liquid and allows your child to easily change pads and sleep comfortably through the night. The waterproof absorbent layer contains fluid while the vinyl liner keeps the bed and sheets dry. This larger 36 x 54 pad works great on full size beds when additional coverage is needed. Has a waterproof vinyl backing and polyester/rayon fiber content. The tuck-in Overlay provides the additional benefit of side tucks to help keep the pad in position. Summary: time and stress saver
Comment: We got this for my boys' beds and it is great!! I no longer have to wash sheets (daily at times). I just pop this one in the wash. It has saved me so much time and energy (and back pain). It saved changing the sheets in the middle of the night after my son got sick. It is easily moved to other homes for naptime on the road. I am trying to get Grandma to get one for her house. If not, we will buy it.

Summary: What I have been looking for...
Comment: This item is great for when you want to protect the bed but don't want to have to change all of the sheets when the bed is wet. (I bought 2.) It was just what I was looking for for my 2 year old daughter who is now in a regular bed but whose diapers still leak sometimes. I'm sure it will be even more helpful when we are potty training her. My only complaint is that I find that it does slip around on the sheets and I have to keep tucking it in underneath the mattress. Other than that, it is great! I highly recommend it.

Summary: Perfect choice
Comment: These pads are wonderful. I have a 5 year old who is still working on his nighttime control and these pads were soft and held more then enough fluid. I used to use disposable 36x36 chux pads (biggest I could find) but they wouldn't stay in place during the night and couldn't hold the increasing volume of a 5 year old who loves his evening milk. These pads have endured several washings so far and show no signs of any wear. Great choice and I've saved a ton of money not having to buy disposables. The tuck in sides are probably not necessary because the 36x54 size seems to stay in place on it's own.
