It fits so well because the proximal cuff is looser to fit the upper arm or ankle, while the distal stitch is stronger and tighter to prevent migration. Comment: I have nerve damages in my elbows from years of desk work and bony elbows. These pads save me so much pain it is unbelievable. I bought my first set about 8 years ago when the Dr. told me to, that set has been retired. I bought 2 new sets, 1 to keep at home and 1 to keep at work. I am glad they have different sizes now so they don't slide off my arms or look bulking under my clothes.
