Summary: No "BS," this stuff works!
Comment: During the summers, I work as a seasonal for the local forest preserve district. We do all sorts of outdoorsy stuff and I've been lucky for two and almost 90% of a third year. Last week, my luck ran out. Tried Caladryl lotion, but that didn't seem to do anything other than make the area around the poison ivy itch. Grabbed some Technu from work. It seems to (not scientific, just my opinion) draw the oil out or something, because little bumps (doubtless more poison-hit areas of my arm) are appearing around the original affected area _BUT_ the swelling is also going down. The rash is also becoming less red.
