Customer Rating: Summary: Works great if you plug it in! Comment: Purchased this scale in July and it works fine except for one small problem I encountered today. I needed to use the unit in battery mode for the first time since I purchased it, and discovered that the battery terminals (of my unit at least) do not fit on a standard 9 volt battery.
I tried a couple different brands of batteries (not off brands) and neither brands would fit the terminals. I have contacted Amazon regarding this problem, but it is well over the 30 day refund period. Just something you may want to be aware of before purchasing. Oh yeah, this USPS postal scale was made (of course) in China. Customer Rating: Summary: Good so far! Comment: I just got this and plugged it in and I know it works, I haven't actually used it yet for any packages I'm to send but I'm hoping it will be accurate! Customer Rating: Summary: Great for Small Office Comment: This is a great postage scale. I have a small business and have wasted lots of postage over the years "estimating" what the correct postage would be and adding an extra stamp or two "just to be sure". The scale is very accurate and will eventually pay for itself. Customer Rating: Summary: Great little scale Comment: I've been using this scale regularly for over a month now to weigh packages that I sell via the Amazon Marketplace. It's compact, simple to use, and looks to be well built. It's exactly what I was looking for in a postal scale. Customer Rating: Summary: Works Great for small packages - so far Comment: it took me a few tries before I figured out that it weighs in fractions of an ounce - so I was getting 1.9 etc for really light packages, which means 1.9 ounces. It only shows lbs when it's heavy enough - and it seems to be pretty accurate. I use it to ship things with PayPal shipping via USPS and I have to round up to whole ounces anyway, so it doesn't seem to effect the cost of postage negatively. As far as I can tell, I'm paying exactly what I would if I took it to the post office and had them weigh it, so it works great for me.
