Summary: Over all even with the plastic I love it
Comment: It is big which is a plus for me, I have owned this about 6 months and have used it 4-5 times a week every week and for a few months was using it every day to chop whole apples for 12 chickens to eat, it was used like a work horse.
I find it easy to clean, if you rinse it as soon as your done with it, it just wipes down. I wouldn't ever leave it sitting in the sink and let the food dry on it, nor would I use strong soaps or a dishwasher as they break down plastics. That brings me to why its a 4 star rating and not a 5, I would love if the bowl was made of glass, even if I had to pay more for it. I know the plastic pieces are going to fail first making it worthless. Its a great product forced to be ruined by plastic. I wish they gave customers the choice between plastic or glass. I like the suction feet because I don't have to worry about it falling off the counter. I love the "big mouth" no prechopping to do. Over all even with the plastic, I loved it.

Summary: disappointing engineering
Comment: This was a gift for my wife who had wanted a large capacity food processor. When she used it, it leaked liquid all around the sides since the liquid thrown up the sides went right through the seam between the top and the bowl, and bits of food were thrown up into the lid of the feed-tube where it was hard to get to and remove during cleaning. She was not happy with these two problems and was disappointed that the chopping mechanism was not more efficient. Ultimately, we returned it and bought a Kitchen Aid food processor instead

Summary: not as I expected
Comment: I bought this food processor because it had a large capacity, which I needed, but the engineering and design of this product leaves alot to be desired. The first usage surprised me because all of the liquid inside splashed up and began to run down the outside of the container. I have decided to add liquids last, but there are several other downsides to this food processor. The splashing of what is being chopped in the bowl sends food up into the upper lid, where it lodges and is hard to remove. Chopping is uneven and there seems to be no way to get all things chopped evenly, whether layered on top or the bottom. Although this is called "Big Mouth", it is hard to add large things through the food chute since the opening to the chute is smaller than the chute itself. In order to load the 'big mouth' you have to open the top, which automatically shuts off the food processor. What a disappointment this machine was!

Summary: Good for a large family
Comment: If you need to make a lot of food, this is for you. If not, this is a poor choice.

My husband and I received this processor as a gift for our wedding a year ago. It's powerful, has a very large chute (nice!), has suction cups that are very strong to keep the machine on the counter, has different options for blades, is easy to put together/take apart and clean.

But it's much too big for the two of us. If you don't put in enough food, the blades won't reach all of it (either it falls to the bottom or gets flung out to the sides) and not all of it gets cut properly. So unless you really fill it every time, it won't be worth the trouble of getting it out and using it, then having to clean it and put it away. Chopping manually or using a mandolin is better worth your time for just a little bit of food.

Four stars for a good food processor. But this isn't for you unless you really need this much space.

Summary: Awsome!!
Comment: I love this processor!!! It works for everything I have used it for from homemade pasta to quick homemade dips and doughs. The large mouth really allows you to move quickly and avoid extra prep work. It takes some getting used to on how much pressure to use when using the slicer blade but once you get it you will love it. I made an entire vegetable tray for 40 in about 10 minutes. It is a bit big and on the heavier side but worth it and the suction feet really help when it gets going! The only thing left to do is get their extra french fry cutter blade and I will use this all the time.
