Summary: The best eyeliner.
Comment: I've bought the eye liner in black ebony and blue marine and both are absolutely the best eye liner I've ever owned. I have little asian eyes and usually eyeliner pencils will smudge and leave my eyes all black. I've tried clinique, mac, urban decay, etc. While they're all good, they just don't give me the control and long wearability as laura mercier's. So if you have issues with eyeliners smudging onto your lids, i highly highly highly recommend this product.

Comment: I've been using this product for over a year and there is still so much left in the compact! I only use it wet and it stays on better than anything I've tried so far. Definitely never going back to black eyeliner pencil.

Summary: THE BEST EYELINER
Comment: I'VE TRIED MANY EYELINERS. WENT TO LAURA MERCIER MAKEOVER AT NORDSTROM AND TAUGHT ME RIGHT TECHNIQUE LIFT WITH BRUSH AND LINE PUTTING BRUSH UNDER EYELASHES AND RIGHT AT ROOTS (NOT ON MEMBRANE). DOESN'T SMUDGE. KEY IS LAYERING IT IF YOU WANT IT THICKER. I'M ASIAN AND WAS SUPRISED THAT I COULD REALLY THICKEN IT WITHOUT LOOKING SCARY.
VERY SUBTLE.

Comment: This is the best product I have found yet. I usually like to try other products, but for eyeliners, I am hooked on this one. It stays on all day, doesn't run or smudge and I can use it on the inside of my upper lid with no problems.

Summary: Not that impressed...
Comment: I went to Saks to find my perfect eyeliner. I needed something with staying power - I'm sick of having that upside-down u-shape of eye liner in the crease of my eyelid (i have sunken in eyes, and i've NEVER been able to have un-smudgable eye liner on my lids). I went to Saks thinking that I would have to resort to liquid liner - which I was very nervous about because I just KNOW it would probably look terrible.

The saleslady at Saks swore to me that this Laura Mercier liner would solve my problems. All I needed to do, according to her, was use an angled liner brush, wet the brush slightly, and apply the liner.

I was sold on the midnight blue color, and went home to try it out. In about 2 hours, I had that crease line on my lid and by 4 hours later, the lower-lash liner had completely come off.

It's a beautiful color and feels nice, that's why I'm giving it 3 stars. But for $20 and the assurance that this would solve my problems, it's been a pretty big let down.
