Summary: Excellent Quality in a Mundane Item
Comment: Trash cans are pretty unexciting, but this one is awfully nice. I previously owned a pull-out trash can that I bought at Home Depot. It was serviceable for a while, but ultimately its flimsiness caught up with it.

This is an entirely different ball of wax. The simplehuman pull out trash can is exceptionally well made with a sturdy frame and strong ball bearing tracks. I highly recommend it.

Comment: I am currently remodeling my kitchen, so i wanted my trash can out of sight. Found this product and couldnt be happier with my purchase. It was very easy to install. It slides out easily and smooth. It slides out very far, far enough to remove the trashcan can without angling it. It was commericial grade so it is very durable. Highly recommend this product dont be deterred by the price, its well worth the money!

Comment: I own the two-bin version, and consider SimpleHuman the only company that sells a high-quality version of pull-out bins at a reasonable price. I had to go to the company's Web site to get it. The bins are smooth and sturdy plastic, and the hardware is sturdy, durable and smooth-working. The other reviewer says the bin cannot be removed - this is not so. The bins drop in, and are completely removable. However, since the slides are not full-extension, I suspect he is not able to pull the bin out far enough so that it clears the underside of his cabinet. With my two-bin version, I have to remove the front bin, then slide the rear one forward before I can remove it. Not a problem... but I could see how it would be annoying to not be able to get a single, larger bin out.
