Summary: Cosamin DS is great
Comment: I give my big dogs Cosamin DS for their joints. It's made by Nutramax Labs, the same company that make's the brand Cosequin sold by Veterinarian's. It has good science behind it and it works by promoting cartiledge formation and synovial fluid production, which keeps dogs active and comfortable as they age. Cosamin DS comes in larger quantities for less money than the Cosequin sold by Vet's and I give it to 3 big dogs twice a day, so it's more cost effective.

Comment: I find these capsules to be a total waste of $$$. I have taken them as directed for two months -- three capsules the first month, then down to two.

No difference in my knee pain at all -- and the company doesn't stand behind its product.

The only thing that HAS helped is Feldene. And when that doesn't work anymore, I'll probably have to have a knee replacement.

Summary: DS Cosamin Nutrient for joint Benefit
Comment: Delivered on time as expected, in good condition. I have been using this product for a couple of years and I feel as though it is doing exactly what it is supposed to be doing. Prior to using it I experienced Knee discomfort when sitting for an extended period of time. now,with taking this nutrient I no longer have that problem. perhaps when you age into your mid 70's as I have you may have some discomforts but it is nice to have them eliminated at this time. My thanks to DS Cosamin.
