These resonator bells are very lightweight, with no sharp edges. The bars can be removed from the resonating chambers (not permanently attached). Use the detachable resonator bells alone, or place them on the included wooden step ladder to allow students to see as well as hear the relationship between notes. No replacement parts are available for this item. The lowest C-bar is 7.25" long, with each ascending bar being slightly shorter, ending with high C-bar that is 5" long. Height of the instrument at tallest end is 9" when set up with bars on the steps. The overall measurement at the base is 18" when ladder is set up. (This measurement includes the support piece, which extends outward when set up.)
