The Comfort U Total Body Support Pillow molds itself to the shape of your body to cradle you in complete comfort from head to toe. This extraordinary pillow surrounds you in a cocoon of support, relieving pressure to many areas of the body, which drastically reduces your need to toss and turn. You get uninterrupted, restful sleep. The Comfort U Body Pillow is filled with Fusion Fiber, so it's always soft, fluffy, and totally hypoallergenic. Fusion Fiber is made from a polyester polymer with extremely high heat resistance. Each strand is highly polished to insure that the fibers move easily against each other to avoid lumping or clumping. Next, they are twisted or spiraled to give them a soft springy rebound when compressed in use. Finally, the fibers are joined in a conjugate fashion (symmetrical) resulting in a small cluster between one eighth to one quarter inch in diameter. The varying size of each cluster allows them to fit together and fill the voids between themselves providing a very comfortable sleeping surface. Fusion Fiber has become extremely desirable because it can resist very high washing and drying temperatures. This feature is extremely beneficial as it allows the Comfort U to dry faster than any other fiberfill. Care Instructions: Daily fluffing of your Comfort U is recommended. Manufacturer recommends laundering in a a front loading, commercial size washer and dryer (as in a Laundromat). The Comfort U is large and needs the space to move around to dry. It is also recommended to add a tennis ball or clean gym shoe to the drying cycle to evenly fluff the pillow.

Comment: I originally purchased this for my pregnancy, as I was using 5+ pillows for support, and i was tired of chasing them as they fell off the bed all night long. I loved the support and have slept with it ever since. (i even take it with me on trips.) its great because of the refluff-able fill and because you can roll over and not have to move it. I have yet to wash it in the laundermat and see how it turns out.

one con, because of its size, it can be difficult to fluff... do it in the morning while you have energy, not at night when you're ready to go to bed.

Summary: Every pregnant woman must have!
Comment: I bought the comfort U pillow and is wonderful! I found the pillow to be a little firm for my head/neck, so I just turned it upside down like another reviewer suggested. Then, I can use my own down pillows that are a lot less firm. But, for supporting your leg, tummy, and back during pregnancy, the comfort U is perfect. The only issue I have with it is that the cover that is included is a little rough and develops little balls on it. Also, your partner will get frustrated with the comfort U because of its size. But, if you sleep alone (perhaps just for the last couple months like me) or if you have a King size bed, then the comfort U is a must have! I tried to work with multiple standard size pillows, and trust me, it is not the same as the comfort U!

Comment: This pillow is the equivalent of having two body pillows. Its not quite firm enough for use as a pregnancy pillow-the support for your back is just not there. I would recommend it for someone looking to replace a couple of pillows.

Summary: FOSSFILL Comfort U is best
Comment: Some reviewers here have complained that the pillow flattens too easily. Note that according to the web site sitincomfort (The Comfort Store), there are two kinds of Comfort U pillows: one is stuffed with Fusion Fiberfill, and the other is stuffed with Fossfill. The Fusion Fiberfill is what's being sold on this Amazon page. Read carefully; other Amazon sellers stock the Fossfill version.

This is an important point to consider, depending on your priorities. My understanding is that the Fusion Fiberfill is supposed to feel more like a real down pillow--which means it's likely to need to be fluffed more, too. Tricky with such a big pillow.

So I recomend doing a little research and checking out the Fossfill version. The Fossfill version is allegedly better at maintaining its shape, and also lets air circulate better so it's not as hot.

Comment: This is an awesome product! I was hesitant to spend so much money on a pillow, but it is worth every penny!!! I have fibromyalgia & I was pregnant when my husband ordered this pillow for me. It is wonderful. I wish I would have bought it years ago. I sleep so much better now. It is great for fibromyalgia sufferers & pregnant women.
