Ouidad Balancing Rinse is a detangling conditioner that closes the cuticle layer. It is oil-free, wax-free, and animal fat-free, it can also be used as a leave-in conditioner, wont weigh hair down. Use it to add more moisture to dry hair or before blow-drying for a straighter style.

Comment: Best conditioner I have found for my curly hair. Cheaper on the Ouidad website, especially if you buy a larger size. You'll have to balance for yourself the shipping and handling fees on Amazon compared with Ouidad.

Summary: A Tangled Mess
Comment: I debated over buying Ouidad products for months before finally deciding to give them a try despite the price. This Balancing Rinse does smell good as the other reviewer said, but it left my hair in such a tangled mess that by the time I got done combing it out a handful of my hair had come out. My curls may make my hair look thick, but believe me, it's not. I can't afford to lose that much hair every time I wash it. Needless to say, I'll be going back to my regular brand.

Summary: Great leave-in conditioner
Comment: I have been a Humectress user for half my life and decided to try something different. I have been using Ouidad Curl Quencher Shampoo for a couple of years now, and decided to try one of the conditioners that can be used as a leave-in. The first thing that struck me was the fragrance. It smells like apples, and is very refresing. The conditioner gave my hair great "slip", and made it feel "plump" in the shower. I didn't rinse my hair, rather came out of the shower and put it in a towel. I let my hair air dry, and was surprised at how soft and shiny my hair was. It wasn't weighed down, and my curls were nice and springy. The only downside to this conditioner is that it has protein in it. If your hair is prone to dryness from protein, either stay away from this conditioner, or use it for only a week at a time, switching out with another conditioner. This is the only reason I gave this 4 stars.
