Comment: It's taken me a number of years to find a face lotion that is just right for my skin type. I admit it's costly (hence the four stars), but for me it's worth the price. I wouldn't say the smell is pleasant either but I got used to it and it goes away quickly. I use it whether I wear makeup or not and would recommend it for those with sensitive skin.

Summary: Great product
Comment: I got this product with my starter kit and I was initially annoyed because I didn't want it. I had been using the foundation for about two weeks, hoping it would help clear up my horrible acne, but it didn't. I got the starter kit two weeks ago and started using bareVitamins morning and night after washing my face. My face still isn't totally clear, but it's much, much better.

I'm going to be honest, this stuff stinks. But I can only smell it while applying the product and it doesn't linger at all so in my mind, it's not a negative.

Summary: Does Nothing for Me.
Comment: I got this in my Bare Escentuals starter kit, and I really hated the way it smelled! like other reviewers I thought it smelled like glue, very chemical like. I love bare escentuals makeup,and I noticed that after using the rev-er upper and the makeup that my skin looked amazing, refreshed, so I did an experiment and stopped using the rev-er upper and just stuck to my regular routine of moisturizers that I have used for 20 years and the makeup, and my skin still looked just as radiant, so I am not sure what exactly the Rev-er upper does besides smell really bad.

Summary: 4 days of use and I am blown away by the results
Comment: After almost a year of using the be make-up, I decided to try the rev-er upper as well as the prime time. I have a few small lines on my face, but one in particular is deep between my eyes from years of squinting. Make-up always falls into this crease and makes it look deeper. It has also had a texture to it for as long as I can remember. After two applications of the rev-er upper there is no texture and the crease has almost disappeared. When I apply my bare minerals it doesn't sink into it any longer. I am a believer now!!!
Also, for those that are saying it doesn't help prepare their skin for application of make-up..that is what "Prime Time" is for and it leaves your skin silky smooth and with it my be make-up has never looked better!

Summary: changed my skin - for the better!
Comment: I just wanted to give a thumbs up to this product. I always had acne-prone skin and was very sensitive to any product on my face. This product contains a small amount of salycilic acid to combat that, but not enough to cause the other demon - dry skin. It provides the perfect base for Bare Minerals makeup.

I know of people who have tried Bare Minerals and not found success, and I honestly believe it is because they used it without Skin Revver-Upper as a base. I was lucky that it all came for me in a starter kit. Since then, I'm on my second bottle. It does last for a while, so the price is worth it.
