Comment: I've gone back to an electric trimmer, this one was laborious to use for nose hairs and I completely failed to get it to trim anything in the ears! Certainly well made but I obviously do not possess the knack of using it.

Well, I reviewed this product a while ago and I just want everyone to know that I absolutely love this trimmer. I have yet to pull a hair from my nose like the cheap battery operated models have a reputation of doing and the Platinum XL trims very closely without ever cutting or nicking the skin.
It is very compact and I occasionally carry it with me for on-the-go trimming. This is the best $20.00 that I have ever spent for a quality product that will probably last a lifetime. I highly recommend it!
