Comment: I am a big fan of Dr. Bronner's Liquid Soaps. I have been using the tea tree oil soap after doing yard work and felt it helps take the sting out of mosquito bites and other itchiness. Recently my wife moved it where I could not find it. I used a well known bar soap and was disapointed in how I felt afterword.Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps with Organic Oils Tea Tree Liquid 32 Oz

Comment: This soap is the greatest. I use it for practically everything from dog bathing to cleaning anything. I keep a bottle on my sink, it cleans greasy stuff like magic.

Comment: The reviews that say this smells like tar, I'm puzzled by.

Anyone buying tea tree oil soap, one would think, is buying it because of its antiseptic properties, in which case, one would think that you would know that tea tree oil smells strongly. I dont understand why people would buy the tea tree oil soap expecting it to smell like flowers... thats just silly.

I dont know about "tar" though. It smells like tea tree oil, which is sort of minty, strong smell, I dont find it unpleasant, myself.

I like the smell of tea tree!

Anyway, I bought this soap to be an antiseptic soap to wash my piercings and keep them clean and free of infection, and thats what this soap does. Its Gentile, cleansing, and it kills germs, what else do you need soap to do?

This soap is very thin, but dont be fooled! a little goes a LONG way. I use a tiny drop to wash my hands, and a Qtip to wash my ears. It lathers a lot, and you dont need a ton of it. You could even dilute it if you wanted, but its so thin I chose not to.

Good product, great price, arrived super early.

Plus the weird religious cult writing all over the bottle makes for humorous bathroom reading :x

Summary: Excellent alternative to conventional soaps
Comment: This is an excellent alternative to those who are pursuing a more natural way of living.

Pros: The oils in the soap will deep clean your skin without stripping it completely of its moisture. The concentrated coconut oil provides you with a rich lather comparable to what you will find in traditional soaps but without the use of harsh chemicals. The antiseptic properties of the tea tree oil are also good for those with acne. After the shower, I have experienced soft, clean skin with a pleasant aroma. I have found it beneficial as a shampoo as well. It leaves my hair soft and manageable without over-drying. It can be used as a facial soap or for a full body cleanse. The soap is highly concentrated to where you do not need much to achieve the desired results.

Cons: The oils used in the soap are relatively thin, almost as thin as water. They are not very viscous, which sometimes makes the soap hard to control when you pour it out. The aroma of the soap is something that may not set well with some because it does smell medicinal, however I enjoy it as it is invigorating and makes for a refreshing shower or bath. Lastly, the bottle is somewhat overdone with religious propaganda, which personally I believe should be left off of the product labeling because it is unnecessary and annoying but not to the point where I would stop using the product.

Overall, I would highly recommend this product. I make no guarantees that you will have the same experiences that I have while using this soap, but I am happy with this product. I would first suggest though locating one of the smaller bottles found on Amazon.com, specifically the small trial/travel size bottle I have seen. If you do not like the product, you won't be out as much money.
