Comment: This product is not only inexpensive, it is fulfilling almost all of my kitchen need of a scale. I bought one for myself 3-4 years ago, and it is still working for me beautifully. I just bought another one for my mom last month, and hopefully she will use it and love it as much as I did.

Comment: I purchased this to measure portion sizes as I'm trying to lose weight. It is very simple and easy to use right out of the box. I only had to rotate the dial a little ways to zero it. I like that the top container can be easily removed to clean. This scale is small enough to store easily as well. I had a few doubts at first, but I'm glad I went ahead and purchased it.

Comment: I just needed a simple scale for occasional kitchen measures. As for its accuracy, I really don't know but it seems to be sufficient for my needs. Heck, for $5 I don't need critical accuracy; this one seems close enough. It is a handy unit, not taking up much space and it stores nice and compact in the box it came in. My only negative comment is that the tray is not very big so some things are not easily weighed on it. Many people might find it worthwhile to spend a little bit more to get one that has a larger tray. Being the cheapskate that I am and not really needing a big tray, this one works fine for me.
