Comment: This car seat base serves as a second car seat base for our little one. It sure makes life easier not having to remove the base along with the car seat. I couldn't find an additional car seat base at any store. I purchased a Safety 1st Travel System from Burlington Baby Depot. Finding this versatile car seat base was great. The seat works with Cosco, Safety 1st, Eddie Bauer, etc. I recommend to anyone with a two car family.

Summary: Why buy two car seats?
Comment: We have a Safety 1st Designer series car seat, not sure of the model number but it is light blue and gray plaid with hippos by the head rest. I really like this base. It is so convenient to have one in each vehicle rather than having to constantly move it back and forth. I actually like this one better than the one that came with the car seat because the LATCH straps are longer. Well worth the money.
