Summary: Great heater for the home office
Comment: I've had this heater for nearly a year. I keep my home fairly cool (upper 50s or low 60s), so when I am sitting still at my desk, I get cold. This is a great heater for the home office. I have never needed to put it on "High." The low setting is plenty. I also don't use the oscillating function. My only complaint is the little ticking timer in the heater, which is mildly annoying.

Comment: I really love this heater. It is energy efficient and effective. Of course it is warmest when used as a spot heater, but overall, it makes my large bedroom much more comfortable. It does glow, so that may bother you if you are trying to sleep with it on, but I find the glow (kind of like a glow from a fireplace) comforting. Highly recommended!

Summary: Good, but too bright!
Comment: I bought this to replace a Presto Heat Dish that broke. Overall I'm happy with it. It heats well and I like that it oscillates like a fan (in fact it basically looks like a fan with a heater core). It's also nice that the low setting uses half of the energy as the Heat Dish. My only complaint and warning is that this thing is BRIGHT! On the high setting, you literally cannot look at it--it's like looking directly into the sun. You either have to squint or wear sunglasses. The Heat Dish was like having fire place lighting but this is like having a blinding spot light shone in your face.

Comment: Great product, simple to use, oscillating, almost inaudible, does not generate a draft, no filters to clean, and feels like a wonderful warm ray of sunshine. My dogs love it too and camp out close to it. I've already turned down the household thermostat and I'm on my way to saving money by using this comfy little heater.

Summary: Excellent all around heater
Comment: With low and high settings plus oscillation, it will never be frigid inside again. This heater is an excellent choice if you are trying to save energy and dont like the burning smell some heaters give off when they first turn on. The Soleus Air is a very safe solution to a cold room, yet never gets too hot and wont burn anything. The only complaint I have is that the timer makes a slightly noticeable noise, especially when automatically turning off, and sometimes it will continue to make a faint clicking sound after shutting off. However this is a minor detail since I dont use that feature often, and only a concern for those who sleep right next the their heaters. Anyhow, this bad boy can do the job from across the room in minutes!
