Comment: This magazine is the primier publication for the audio industry. Very few ads, lots of articles. Mostly you will find articles about people, movers and shakers in the music industry. Fun to hear how they did it in the good ole days. Still a lot of eductation between the covers of each issue.

Summary: Synapse Services (The company that handles your scubscription) SUCKS!
Comment: Amazon, apparently, contracts out these subscription services to Synapse, Inc. I ordered Mix and Recording Magazine for my husband for XMAS on DEC.5th. We have never received EITHER magazine. When I called to inquire, I was told that it it would be 4 BUSINESS DAYS before I would be contacted by a customer service representative who could help me with my problem.
I do not recommend anyone subscribe to any magazine through Amazon that is handled by Synapse,Inc. The only reason I gave them 1 star is because I the rating system would not allow me to give them ZERO.

Comment: This magazine is, by far, the best resource for the audio engineer no matter what level of stature. Everybody from big engineers in the cities to the little guys in the boonies share their articles ranging in topics from tracking to Mid Side decoding matrices to studio sound absorption. I definitely recommend this magazine to any audio geek out there!

Comment: Ordered the magazine one year at Christmas for my son came without a hitch, second year did a renewal and change of address, and the magazine never came, contacted amazon and was informed that the order was canceled and I was to get a refund which I did pretty promptly but I really would have liked the magazine for my son. I will think twice about ordering another magazine of any type from amazon. i love amazon but the magazine section needs work.
