Lightweight and shaped to fit the hand comfortably, this electric razor delivers a smooth shave either with or without a cord. A floating cutter trims long hairs, and then a thin platinum foil follows along to shave close to the skin. Push a button and the cutter retracts for shaving with the foil alone. Push the button again, and up pops a trimmer for mustache and sideburns. The shaver works worldwide on 110- to 240-volt systems and can be recharged by a 12-volt car or boat battery. It recharges fully in one hour for 30 minutes of shaving time. A green light signals when charging is underway. Comment: Excellent, flexible shaver. Has pop up device for long hairs, pop up trimmer for side burns and moustache, and gives a very good close shave in third position. Have been using this model for many years.

Comment: Excellent product. This is the second unit that I have purchased - the first one lasted about 8 years and I replaced the foil/cutter twice during that time. The rechargeable battery finally would not charge to full potential and a new foil/cutter was needed, so I purchased another unit thru Amazon for not much more than the cost of the foil/cutter at Walgreens! I would highly recommend this shaver for anyone who wants a rechargeable men's foil type shaver.

Summary: Can't finish the job
Comment: I've used Braun and Remington shavers for more than 20 years. My 2-day stubble is a good challenge for any electric shaver. This shaver gives me a close shave. I like the combi shave feature. The trimmer is useless. It reminds me of my dog's dew claws (I had those removed). I'm disappointed that Braun didn't pay attention to the trimmer. It means I have to have another tool to finish the job. They should improve the trimmer and offer a free replacement or coupon to owners of the 3612.

Comment: This shaver offers good value for the price. I bought it a couple years ago at Target to replace my older Braun, which I used for almost 10 years! At this price, you don't buy replacement part, you buy a new one. I can use it anywhere in the world!

Summary: Horrible unless you like your face irritated and not shaved
Comment: Let's see... It does not give a close shave, so you press harder, at which point it irritates your face and leaves the beard behind. I returned it. I would give it 0 stars if I could.
