Summary: IF YOU WONDERED WHAT WAS IT ABOUT THE BEATLES
Comment: When the Beatles first surfaced, at least for me, in 1964, on the Ed Sullivan Show, I was wondering what all the ruckus was about. I soon found out. Almost 40 years later, I'm still as obsessed, and even more so after watching the films, especially the first US tour...Why they became the phenomenon that they did will still, I think, be as big a mystery as who shot JFK, but at least these film will put you in the ballpark. God, I miss those guys. They were the soundtrack and so overwhelmingly an integral part of my life and in a very positive way, the way I view things, even in ways I never really realized...
