Comment: Every one of us will contemplate at one time or another in our life weather there is a Heaven or a Hell, or what the nature of our human soul is. Journey of Souls: Case Studies of Life Between Lives by Michael Newton tries to examine the possibilities using special hypnosis technique on his clients. Through their experiences the reader learns much about the purpose of life.
By the way, I see from reading the reviews on this site some people have recommend my book, "The Enlightenment, What God Told Me After One Million Prayers: A Message for Everyone," and again I just want them to know how much I appreciate their recommendation, especially at such a excellent site. I wrote this book out of love and for the glory of God and Jesus, not for my own fame or fortune. I welcome people to read my book, I'm sure you'll find this non-fiction account of a loving God just as and inspiring.

Summary: Fascinating Book
Comment: Everyone wants to know what happens to us after we die and this book "Journey of Souls" tries to answer questions like these. Newton hypnotizes his clients and tries to get them to regress about their after-life and before birth. He tries to figure out what the nature of the human soul is. I enjoyed the book. If you truly want to read an astonishing book about who God is and what we will do afterlife read "The Enlightenment, What God Told Me After One Million Prayers: A Message for Everyone" by John H. Eagan. The author explains his account with God and after reading it you really feel you know who this wonderful, beautiful creator is!

Comment: Almost every major religion and religious tradition believes in reincarnation (one guess which one doesn't), which implies a learning and progression of the soul, and karmic influences from the past and on the future. While much has been written on the concept of reincarnation itself, almost nothing besides ancient texts like the Tibetan Book of the Dead, the Egyptian Book of the Dead, the Pyramid Texts, etc., and their more modern explications, has been written on the activity, life and conduct of the soul between one death and the following incarnation. This book fills the gap brilliantly.

Dr Newton fills the book with case studies of hypnotherapy patients that he has regressed first to the point of exploring their past lives, and then, further, to the point after which they left one body at death...and then explores the following period while they are in the superconscious hypnogogic state. The results are fascinating on every level.

The book is organized 'chronologically,' that is, with death, one's reception by guides and mentors after death, giving an accounting for the life just lived (for good or ill) to compassionate but serious judges, communion with other souls of various levels of evolution, and then to eventual reincarnation. Along the way he explores the various stages of development an individual soul may manifest; the existence, training, and conduct of guides; and eventually chosing the next body to incarnate. He frankly addresses pain, seemingly unjust deaths, finding soulmates, atoning for past lives, and drawing closer to the source of all. By the end of the book one does have a few questions - he has written a another book to answer many of them - but Newton shrinks from little in his research.

One is left amazed and impressed. Skeptics will no doubt dismiss the book as the product of a charlatan, a grand deception. But for most who read it, I think it will be an inspiration and the kind of book that can change one's whole outlook on life.
