Editorial Review:
Aidan, the Wolf of Awe, has abandoned the Brotherhood and forsaken his vows. Feared by all and trusted by none, he hunts alone, seeking vengeance against the evil that destroyed his son. He has not saved an Innocent in sixty-six years—until he hears Brianna Rose's scream of terror across centuries, and leaps to modern-day Manhattan to rescue her.…
Brie is a gifted empath who spends her time fighting evil from the safety of her laptop—and fantasizing about the medieval Highlander she met just once. Still, her life is pretty ordinary—until she awakens one night consumed with Aidan's pain and rage. When Aidan suddenly appears and takes her hostage, Brie cannot believe how dark and dangerous he has become. She knows she should be afraid, but instead, she will fight across time for his redemption…and his love.

Customer Rating: Summary: B-, EXPLODING A Gnome... Comment: wasn't in this book. Although, it would have been pretty funny and made me bump the grade of this book up to a "B". This book is better than most books I've read lately. I'm a sucker for the Highlander who time travels crap. This is a verra gud buhk, but naht ah grrrreaht one. The first time they think about doing the nasty is in a dream sequence. The skin-on-skin action doesn't happen until page 257. By the way, the book ends on page 370.
This book is a little disappointing, but it wasn't the worst one I've read.
Stick with Karen Marie Moning for excellent Highlander time travel books. Customer Rating: Summary: good but Comment: I enjoyed this book ..... but ..... i did struggle a little with the flow of the story and it may have been because i had to continually put it down so i suggest yes do read this book but try to read it without too many breaks. there was a lot going on without really getting there with me i felt a bit disconnected .... but still worth 4 stars Customer Rating: Summary: Dark Embrace Masters of time Comment: This book is a good read. I love the action and the characters are complexed and you really feel as though you can feel their emotions. I would definitely re-read this book.
However it is predictable and because I have read the other books in the series I basically know what will happen. I don't want to spoil the plot but I think a new villian should be created because Morray has been in all the books now and was meant to have died in the first two.
If you love scottish hunks and enjoy paranormal romances then you should read Dark Embrace. Customer Rating: Summary: Worth reading Comment: I enjoyed this book. I have only read one of her other books in the trilogy so far, and it didn't make me addicted enough to have to read this one. I just happened to see it in the store and picked it up, but I kind of like not being left on a major cliffhangar from the author.
This was the classic fight of good versus evil. Only a woman could bring the salvation of one man. It was an enjoyable read, and I think Brenda Joyce is on the verge of something big. Customer Rating: Summary: I Love, love, Love this Series Comment: WARNING!!!...Do not start reading this Series "The Masters of Time" if you have anything you need to get done. I just finished up Book 3;("Dark Embrace")after just starting it this morning. These men are dangerously addictive so heed my advice! C-ya =)
