Summary: Must have for BFL challenge
Comment: I am in week 2 of my Body for Life challenge and I am so glad to have this book. If you're a planner you will love this book. If you're not....you'll become one! It is all about goal setting and meeting your daily goals. In response to Kala - there is a daily section about the Universal Law of Reciprocation....which can mean anything...not necessarily getting someone to start a BFL challenge. It could mean posting to the BFL website, switching work shifts with someone, encouraging a coworker, ANYTHING....it doesn't have to be getting someone else to start the challenge or even telling them you're doing BFL.

Anyway, great book, but not all-inclusive and I recommend getting the Body-for-Life book as a supplement because he does reference the book at the beginning of the journal.

Summary: Great, but too big
Comment: I am a 24 year old male and I am a huge advocate for the Body for Life program. When all else fails I always turn to this program. Anyway, I have order this training guide when I first began, the only problem is that it is waaay to big. They could have easily compact this down to a 8 x 5 book that would be a lot more portable and more easily manageable. But I guess when your really motivated and want to change your life, your willing to haul around anything!

Summary: Great tool
Comment: I feel like the Success Journal really helps me stay on track with my workouts and helps me to keep track of what I have done. It is nice to have an organized place to write down all of the weights and intensity levels to refer back to when planning my future workouts. It helps to put the whole program together for me and keep me going. The success stories and pictures placed throughout also help to motivate me when I am feeling tired!

Summary: Buy this and keep buying this! Your organizer and nutrition & workout journal
Comment: This journal has helped me shed so many pounds. Truly, getting one's goals down in written form and reviewing them nightly does pay off. I have used this to accompany my gym workouts, career and social goals. Now, I have it again as I workout at home with the Insanity series. Its not easy to sign in to a PC at the end of a day sitting at one but you truly do conquer and accomplish so much more if you just take the time to document and face your progress. My recommendation is to start from the beginning, take your before picture and you can even put that previous fit size picture in your after window;). Write in it every night to set new goals and check off accomplishments. Its a Success Journal! It helps you to actually keep the new habits you commit to and to realize if you there is a way to arrange around the ones you just can't. The first time I used this, I lost 20-22lbs. I'm down about 12 now and I am reigning in other areas of my life that I'd like to improve. Get this journal and get it again! I wish he would make another one with new testimonials, quick recipes/eating substitutions and encouragement. You can even ignore all that and read something else encouraging (Tosca Reno, Tom Venuto, Jillian Michaels or how about Bill Phillips book!!! Hello?) or just go straight to reporting your workout. Its the best journal out there because he asks you to look at all the areas of your life and decide, commit, deliver. And it works! Get this and get it again! Use it! You will lose the pounds and make other great things happen!

Comment: I love this journal! It works great at the gym because its well made and durable. Its an excellent tool to keep track of your physical and mental growth, as well as your food intake.
