Thanks - just checked whether adodb might be having trouble with php 5.3 but no notable issues there.

Since I set v2.1.0 as php5 only, I can try tweaking the adodb-time.inc file a little and see what that does.

I wanted to follow up on this. I reinstalled to the newest version of DF and had to manually re-make the users table to get it to work. The users table was small, fortunately. All is working fine now.

I really don't know what the problem was, have you heard anything about a slight problem with the 5.3.3 version of php? Come to think of it, the calendar events only showed for the current month only - shortly after I updated to the 5.3.3 version of php. This might just be a coincidence though.

Thanks for looking at this.

I haven't been able to find any issues with 5.3 other than the problems people were having with error reporting.

There have been some minor changes to the adobe-time.inc file but I can't see how they will affect things.

Just extract the file and upload.

I have found aberrations when it comes to long term recurring dates, particularly when you use the recurring monthly by, say, Third Friday.

I also believe I have a solution.

Tests without the solution suggest the problem started somewhere from PHP 5.1.

Solution to follow, after I've corrected some other matters, and after I've decided whether or not to dump adodb.
