[solved] HardWire Theme Reply to topic

Hi Phoenix, We like the Hardwire theme very much and so most of my visitors. it is working perfectly except there are two minor problems that I hope to get your help to resolve them.

A couple of buttons like "Upload Picture" the background and the text are almost the same color (please see the picture 2) and people can't see. I have trying to find out which class in the Style Sheet so I can change but I can't figure out which class. Do you have any hints as to how can I identify the class in style sheet so I can change them?

I use the DF Multimedia module and when I use the Hardwired Theme, my right column drop way down to the bottom. It is OK with the default or ReDesign. Do you know why? I posted the picture to help some to visualize it.

Thank you so much

In my browser, I simply can't see the problems you see. What I do see is a site that is too wide for my browser view and which has hundreds of xhtml errors which mask whatever real problem you may have.

I just don't have the many hours necessary to try and work through that mess. The DF Multimedia module isn't part of the Hardwired templates and I'm not familiar with it or any issues (if any) it may introduce.

What can happen is that some themes will accommodate errors in module templates while others will be sensitive to them - depends on the use of tables, divs, paras etc, and you have numerous unclosed tags masking such issues.

Regarding your style issue, presumably in coppermine, I suggest you use the "Web Developer" add-on for Firefox - there are a host of tools available for analyzing what classes and styles are embedded in any given page, which make it easy to find what needs to be changed.
