[solved] PayPal Options Reply to topic

In admin.php?op=Storez&mode=CartPaymentEdit&payment_id=10

Sad PayPal input "Transaction Currency" display only the list from USD to JPY - not currencies I have added.

Correct - the origins of this program go back many years, when there were few options for PayPal currency, so they are hard coded.

For those wishing to see prices in their own currency, there is a disclaimer:
"You are viewing prices in your chosen currency, instead of the site currency.
Those prices are an approximation only.
The final charge which appears on your account may vary slightly."

Then you go to PayPal and pay according to the site currency required for your products (not necessarily the customer's currency).

I've never had to worry about European countries since people tend to use the Euro.

For now, best I can do is add to the hard coded entries - please indicate which ones you wish added.

They can only be those that PayPal supports - NOK, SEK and DKK are all supported.
cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-...ency_codes

If only NOK SEK DKK are required, the attached file should be extracted and uploaded to:
modules/Storez/payments/payment.paypal.php

Clearly I need to integrate the PayPal and Currency sections and cross link the default currency option, especially since someone now needs it Very Happy the change is a little complex so I need to carefully work out how I do it.

Eventually I can also provide for language options when entering the PayPal checkout - Norwegian, Danish and Swedish are available in PayPal.
e.g. like "Choose your PayPal language" on donationspro.com/DonationsPro/

I realy do understand your challenges. We did hard coding back in time. It's probably a good thing to be more flexibel for all of us - also in programing.

Very Happy Perfect so far. Only NOK SEK DKK are required so far.

By-the-way : Have you done something with text?
When I - from admin - click "Storez" and then click "Return to Storez" - the translated text is replaced with english text and display: {Viewcart} {Checkout} {Admin} up right. That's new for me.

Your language/template issue cannot arise from the admin changes - they have no relationship to Storez main page.

Check your language and template files are present.

In fact the storez/index.html template doesn't exist so it appears you have changed things.

Embarassed
Template and language are present as fare as I can see.
Can this occure as a result of changing themes ? That I did by trying themes: Autumn, Azul-Carbon, df and Rustic.
Now I'm back to default.

In fact the storez/index.html template doesn't exist

Sad That sounds ominous. Can I get it back?

yes - can occur from changing themes.

If you upload templates etc to default theme, other themes will look there for templates and use them.

If you don't upload to default, you have to upload to every theme you use.
