Hi I would like to make a requests for a newsletter template maker for Admin..
Save template to a folder with graphics (this way other admin can make newsletter templates and share.....

something like a preview designer i.e. you can have a liberay of corners left and right libray of top bottom and middle graphics ..highlight corner then mouse click in the corner gallery adds top left ect.

This would create another section within DF for news template makers very much like you have themers and block makers.

This could also spark off theme pages for members profiles / blogs / press releases or many other things further down the road.

I'll have to pass on that for now - still early days and more pressing matters to resolve.

I simply cannot justify the effort when creating and adding your own templates is so simple.
readme.txt wrote:
template rules
1) you must end with .php for the file to be displayed in the drop down option in:
Admin => Newsletter Pro => Config => Templates

2) Create your template with your html editor the way you want then be sure to
eliminate all tabs and spaces as not disrupt text only mail readers. See layout
of Red_River.php.

3) Carefull of .css. Most people use Windows. Windows doesn't display .css layouts
very well. Red_River will look like four red boxes in IE. It will display correctly
in Firefox. Best to use VERY SMALL images for decorating themes.

Hi Phoenix

I found this whilst surfing its an old script mix & match for making multi tabled template for a webpage. creationsbydawn.net/gr...easet.html

This got me thinking along the lines of a possible way for newsletter template maker, that the admin could possibly mix and match small images to make a template up, creating the chance to make 100 plus different newsletter templates ..

Also the admin can choose what images they use thus making endless possible which could be packaged up and placed on DF for extras

Instead of having a choice of 3 tables you would have a choice of top left corner / top right corner / bottom middle / top middle ect ect

With a possible preview box so admin can instantly see results and at the end save the newsletter template to add to his / her collection.

Also might be a handy tool for a members version to use to customise there blogs or press releases or anything on site really..

This is just an idea as you have template maker on hold … there again you might know of something better

Anyway the idea is there

Enjoy the weekend

Thanks Tim
