[done] Product count doesn't reflect sub-stores Reply to topic

Version 9.3.2
Next to the store it’s showing a “0” I am assuming that should be the product count?
If so it doesn’t seem to be working. Also what if you have all your products in sub stores like I have on one of my web sites, could it some how reflect sub stores so someone won't think it’s empty?
Maybe have it as an option that you can turn off in admin?

hmm, given how it is calculated, not so easy - needs some thought about a different approach Neutral

In the interim, for this release, I've modified it so that only non-zero numbers show, and then they only show to admin.

Functional solution now implemented - example, the "Computing & The Web" store on this site.

I’m just wondering what that will make the main page look like when each of the stores have 5 – 12 sub stores in it. As is the case in my test site. My test site

That will depend entirely on what you have in sub-stores.

In any event, it's all academic - it has always (even originally) been within your control by adjusting the template.

hmm, not quite working as intended - small bug to sort out Sad

Fixed and included in v9.3.4

Upgraded from 9.3.3 to 9.3.4 no problems with upgrade.
The counts are still working strangely; my test site only shows a count if I add another item into the sub store. Afterwards I can delete it and the count stays true for that sub store. The main store only seems to show the count for the first sub store under it.

I can only vouch for what I see here in testing - the main store shows the total products for sub-stores and sub-sub-stores.

Maybe you have some other issue - I suggest deleting the cached Storez_countprod file to allow it to regenerate.

No change still can't get them to show without entering another item first than deleting the cach.
Main store will only show the count for the first sub store.
I also see for your store "testing" it shows 5 but you only have 3 items in the store.

The count in the Testing store is because I did a couple of shortcuts directly through the database and hadn't returned to fix it properly - now fixed.

The count in Computing & The Web is more representative.

nm, found the issue - missed duplicating the fix in the admin area Embarassed
I've updated the download » nukebiz.com/Downloads/...ils/id=64/ - files involved are,
