[solved]Error in Blogsplus 2.0.99.52 in 9.1.1 Reply to topic

Hello.

I uploaded the blogsplus and installed in my blocks section. There are a couple of issues:

1) The blogs appear on my site, but when I click on an entry, this is the error I get: The URL that you requested, /Blogs/mode=display/id=151.html, is temporarily unavailable.
We're sorry, but this module has been disabled

2) I'm also getting a similar error that was mentioned in the posts on DF: _B_TITLE
There are no _b_title to display _B_SEARCH_USERS
_B_STARTBLOGGING
_B_CREATE_TITLE
_B_CREATE_REG

To which Phoenix replied: I believe variations of this problem has been posted previously in this thread.

Though I doubt it would be causing the problem, the cpg_inst.php file has some faulty code, PHP:
$this->website = 'BLOG_WEBSITE; $this->description = BLOG_DESCRIPTION';
should bePHP:
$this->website = BLOG_WEBSITE; $this->description = BLOG_DESCRIPTION;

Note: This was over a year ago and I didn't know if they were talking about this version (blogsplus) so I didn't apply: dragonflycms.org/Forum...rt=90.html

3) In admin section, after I create my blogs block, I go to my modules console and where it says "Install" (next to blogs) I click on that and it comes up with: A database error has occurred The webmaster has been notified of the error

I'm not very PHP literate, so if you could clearly advise, please let me know.

Here is my profile on DF: http://dragonflycms.org/Your_Account/profile=2423.html

I currently have the blogs active and you can visit at www.prnuke.com.

Thanks in advance for your help.

All of which tells me you are using the old 2.0.99.52 version, not the upgraded version from this site.

I have downloaded the files from your website and re-uploaded them to my core. nukebiz.com/Downloads/...id=56.html

There is no install file so am I doing it correctly?

1) Upload files
2) Install block
3) Install module

Do I need to delete my blogs block before attempting to re-upload files and install?

Thanks.

As a general rule, you should never activate a block before you install a module - however, this block is configured so users can't create that problem.

If you already have the original Blogs module installed, you simply need to upgrade it by clicking "edit" in admin » modules.

If its a fresh install, then you will need to click install.

In admin > modules, the only option I have for blogs is "install".

When I click that, I get the database error: A database error has occurred.
The webmaster has been notified of the error

I know this seems elementary but any advise will be greatly appreciated.

disable and delete your old block and try again
